Students are curious to know what's going on, ready to understand the context, and eager to share their opinions. Conversations will be about politics, the economy, and the pandemic. Though we will focus on the US, the nature of our world means that the conversations will be international in scope. Though I will arrive with sources and topics, I'm eager for the students to guide the conversation towards their own questions and interests. We will run down unexpected rabbit holes, compare conservative and liberal news sources, debate, discuss, and make connections through history. I'm eager to see how it unfolds!
