Brian Frenette
CAREER COACH
Brian Frenette has worked in career services within the higher education space for over 17 years across three institutions — Yale University, Wesleyan University, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has coached undergraduates, professional students, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows and scholars across 80 academic disciplines. While at these institutions, he created career development programming and instituted new methods in delivering resources to his constituencies. In addition to coaching, Brian has also worked directly with employers on recruiting students in industries such as technology, media & entertainment, management consulting, finance, education, and the nonprofit sector. He has also created and taught a collegiate professional development course curriculum while at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
I provide a unique methodology to career coaching that challenges clients within a supportive environment and focuses on building self-confidence. From resume reviews to salary negotiation and everything in between, I work with individuals and groups across the professional spectrum to refine career goals and develop a strategy to move forward. Whether you're just beginning to consider your career path or if you're looking to pivot after years in a given industry, the decisions to be made and the actions that await you are significant. My goal is to make sure you feel empowered in your decision making, confident in the steps you need to take, and certain of your skills, values, and interests.
